Kerbal Inventory System

KIS is a mod allowing kerbals to carry equipment on EVA.  This opens up the opportunities for EVA missions, such as reparing craft (with 3rd part repair mods) or changing parts.  All Universal Storage II wedges are KIS compatible allowing kerbal’s to remove and replace wedges on cores and carry the wedges on EVA.  In addition there are several KIS only parts for added functionality.

EVA-X

A complete EVA mission extender backpack, providing additional resources for extra-vehicular activity.  Designed to work with a selection of life support systems.  The EVA-X can be carried in a container and worn in a kerbal’s backpack slot.  The EVA-X now support data transmission via a small antenna and power supply.

    kOS / MechJeb

    Kerbal Operating System (kOS) is a simple programming language to automate flight plans.  From simple take off scripts to detailed landing routines for remote craft, you can write and share your programs in KSP or in an external text editor.  A part is required on your craft for the programs to run and kOS includes several parts in the mod.

    MechJeb is a autopilot with a GUI that can be used to automate repetitive tasks.  Considered a cheat by some, and a useful solution to monotonous tasks by others.

    Universal Storage II includes the guidance computer part which allows for the above mods to be used on your craft.  Note: Due to limitations if using both mods in career mode, the part will not appear in a balanced location for MechJeb in the tech tree.
